Our Story

About Us

Wesley Church Community Garden was established in 2011 through a generous grant, with the mission of growing fresh produce to help meet the increasing food needs in our community. Since then, we have been continuously growing and expanding, striving to feed more people as food insecurity continues to rise in our area.

At Wesley Church Community Garden, we believe in the power of community and the importance of fresh, nutritious food. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to feed our community by growing fresh produce and donating at least 50% of our harvest to local food banks.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to:

  • Growing Fresh Produce: We cultivate a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, ensuring a diverse and healthy harvest.
  • Supporting Local Food Banks: At least half of our produce is donated to local food banks, helping to nourish those in need.
  • Empowering Volunteers: Those who work in our garden can take home a portion of the harvest, providing fresh food for their own families.
