This week brought some exciting progress for the garden! Ricky and John N. tackled a big job, renting a trenching machine and digging out about 230 feet from the church to the garden. They laid irrigation tubing and electric lines in the trench, tested the flow before sealing it up, and—SUCCESS! We now have a solid flow of water directly to the garden. Next up: attaching the fittings like a hose bib.

On top of that, we secured 400 feet of 6′ fencing, which will soon be attached to the posts—giving us much-needed protection from groundhog infiltration.
Step by step, we’re making it happen!
🌱 Once that fence is up, the garden will finally be ready for planting. Rain may have delayed things, but it’ll just make the soil even richer for those veggies. Looking forward to seeing it all come together—stay tuned for the new planting date! 🌧️✨
